PNF is a way for support staff/ family to help individuals to give their arms and legs a good stretch while reinforcing helpful movement patterns by encouraging brain signals to be sent from the skin to the brain and back to the muscle. This helps promote movement and relax tight muscles when it’s done on a regular basis.
